Author Biography

Smriti Prasadam-Halls has been a children's writer and editor for more than ten years and has written several children's books for the very young, including Jingle Jangle Jungle, illustrated by Axel Scheffler, Hello, Bugs! and Monkey Business. Ian Smith spent much of his childhood drawing on walls, reading about knights and defending the sandpit from terrible dragons, (who just happened to look a lot like his sisters). When he got a bit older he moved to Bristol to study for a BA in Illustration at the University of the West of England. Before he knew it he'd turned into an illustrator (and not a knight after all). Series consultant Nikki Gamble is the director of Just Imagine, a specialist resource and training centre for Primary English. She is Associate Consultant at the University of London, Institute of Education.
